The province says residents will get their second doses sooner than expected with the goal of fully vaccinating the majority of Ontarians by the end of summer.
Week of May 31: Individuals aged 80 and over will be able to book their second dose. Anyone who received Astrazeneca from March 21 onward will become eligible on May 31 at a 12-week interval from their first dose.
Week of June 14: Individuals aged 70 and over will be able to book their second dose.
Week of June 28: Individuals who received their first dose between the weeks of March 8 and April 18 will become eligible. This could include individuals with the highest-risk health conditions and special education workers.
Week of July 19: Individuals who received their first dose between the weeks of April 19 and May 9 will become eligible. This can include individuals aged 50 and up, as well as individuals with high-risk conditions.

A report has alleged that Missouri Republican Rep. Chad Perkins had sex with a drunk 19-year-old while on duty as a police officer in 2015, prompting the Missouri Highway Patrol to review the claims.
Perkins, 42, worked at the Bowling Green Police Department in Pike County before he was elected to the state House in November.
Highway Patrol Capt. John Hotz was cited as saying by AP News that the Pike County prosecutor raised a request to investigate Perkins and that the patrol agency is “currently conducting a preliminary inquiry.”

On Thursday, police responded to reports of a suspicious incident in the area of Clendenan Avenue and Dundas Street West shortly before 1:30 p.m. A girl was reportedly waiting to cross the street on her scooter when a man driving a white van yelled out to her get in my van, get in the back of my truck,” police said in a press release on Friday. The girl ran away from the man and the van, police said. The van is described as a newer model white cargo van.
TORONTO Nearly 100 Toronto pharmacies will receive limited supplies of the AstraZeneca vaccine today, just four days ahead of their expiry. Individuals who received their first dose of the vaccine between March 10 and March 19 were made eligible to receive an early second dose on Tuesday as the province scrambled to use up 31,000 doses that are set to expire on May 31. However, the delivery of the vaccine to most Toronto pharmacies has been delayed due to a quality assurance process that has been put in place to ensure the vials didn’t spoil while sitting in refrigerators over the last two weeks.
